A barrier shouldn’t stop you from learning.

The LfC Community Bursary removes the specific barriers – financial, practical, logistical – that stop people from accessing or completing a course.

How the bursary works

A bursary is not a discount or a voucher. It is targeted support that removes a specific barrier that would otherwise prevent you from learning. Bursaries are funded from a ring-fenced portion of our paid course income. Bursaries are assessed against financial need and a clear progression goal. They are awarded by the LfC team – not an external body. We make decisions quickly.
